The Top 7 B-Movie Actors Who Deserved an Oscar

Contrary to popular belief, a large number of B-movie actors are easily some of the most beloved artists on the planet. This is why I find it quite perplexing that huge names like Tom Hanks and Russell Crowe take home awards year after year while some of our favorite entertainers seem to go unnoticed by the mainstream. So why no love from the Academy? It’s time to take this into our own hands and dish out some much-deserved honors.

8 Ways To Make Your Pet An Internet Sensation

Let me tell you a story about fame. Many years ago, Oscar and Ethel Schimmelbaum moved to Florida with the hopes of a better life and to escape the most horrific persecution in history – a strict no pets policy at their New York brownstone. The year was 2008. Oscar was a successful piano salesman, moving Steinways and baby grands into assisted living facilities across these glorious United States. Life was good for the Schimmelbaums, but they had no idea about the impact they’d eventually have on the entire world. Ethel spent her days at home, writing postcards to her four lawyer sons and raising their 8-year old calico, Moses. Over the years, Ethel took advantage of her husband’s profession, teaching herself how to play simple tunes on her electric piano. She picked up the classics with ease, playing for her Mah Jong partners and the occasional Fed Ex delivery driver. But one night she and Oscar awoke to a strange tune, an unknown sound emanating from their vintage Wurlitzer. As she crept downstairs to investigate the clatter, she locked eyes on a site of pure amazement.

Top 10 Greenest Countries

Recently, you’ve probably heard all about “going green” and how it seems to be the new fad. A lot of people from all different parts of the world are doing their part in order to keep the earth healthy. More and more people are switching to behavior that is safer for the earth: they are driving hybrid cars, using solar and wind power, recycling, and cleaning with “green” products. While one person going green doesn’t make much of a difference, there are whole countries that have upped their efforts in order to reduce their impact on the environment. Some of these countries may be more motivated because they are witnessing the effects of global warming first hand. For example, Norway, just like many of the other Arctic nations, has experienced a higher average temperature by 5.2 degrees, and glaciers and snow-covered slopes have been melting for years.

Your Top 20 Most Common Passwords

Last year, a major security breach at RockYou.com resulted in the release of 32 million passwords. With such a large data set available, security firm Imperva Application Defense Center (ADC) analyzed and found that, when given the chance, most users will choose a simplistic password. Imperva found that nearly a third of users chose passwords whose length is equal or below six characters and almost 60 percent of users chose their passwords from a limited set of alpha-numeric characters. Almost half of users used names, slang words, dictionary words or trivial passwords (consecutive digits, adjacent keyboard keys, and so on), with the most common password being "123456".

10 Awesome Sports Nicknames

Throughout the 100 plus years of organized professional sports there have been scores of nicknames given to athletes. Monikers like “Magic,” “The Great One” and “Charlie Hustle” are as synonymous with success as the the men who made them famous. When pondering all the handles associated with the world of sports, it’s easy to note that some are better than others. The “Stilt” was perfect for Wilt Chamberlain, but it also conjures images of a circus. The “Big Unit” carries with it lots of connotations besides Randy Johnson’s tallness, if you know what I mean.
